Petition for Regulated Psilocybin Access

Open regulated research access for psilocybin-assisted therapy in India under NDPS Section 71

We must make a concerted effort to bring this therapeutic, naturally occuring plant medicine to the forefront for medically supervised treatment of conditions such as Treatment Resistant Depression, End-of-Life Care, Eating Disorders, Mood Disorders, Existential Crisis and more

My Approach

Empowerment

Instead of the present blanket ban on psychoactive substances enacted in 1986 owing to global pressure, our power lies with reassessment of a 30 year old policy

As a registered Medical Doctor with a training in Psychedelic Augmented Psychotherapy along with being a Vedic Astrology & a devoted Vipassana Practioner, my intentions are aligned to allow for change in using Psilocybin (a naturally occuring psychoactive component in specific strains of mushrooms) assisted Therapy under medical supervision by trained facilitators.

Evidence-Based

Based on research led by teams at premier instituitions such as Johns Hopkins, Yale University, Oxford, MAPS, COMPASS Pathways etc

Culture Heritage

Our ancient texts such as Vedas, Upanishads and Tantra Vigyan frequently allude to methods with or without the use of “Herbs” (Aushadi) to raise our consciousness (Manas)

Natural Medicine

Mushrooms are naturally occuring fungi and ecological anchors. They are a nutrional powerhouse!
